About the Surrey Angels
Having originally cheered for the University of Surrey's American Football team, the Surrey Stingers, the Surrey Angels are now an All Star squad; we train to compete. The Surrey Angels train together twice a week at the University of Surrey Sports Centre.
Stunts:
Every Tuesday, 6:15pm to 7:30pm in the UniSPORT Main Hall
Extra Stunts Session:
Every Tuesday, 7:30pm to 8:30pm in the UniSPORT Main Hall
Dance:
Every Thursday, 5:50pm to 7:00pm, UniSPORT Studio
The squad currently consists of seventeen members and we are always looking for more!
We first started up in 1998 as a society, but have since grown and we are now a sport at our university. We train to compete nationally at the BCA competitions each year, and also compete in smaller competitions throughout the year.
Fun Fact: Our motto is "WELLIE!" (As in "Lets give it some wellie!")
